A letter to all from the Trustees:
For years, we have proclaimed, “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” We believe those words with all our hearts. But true welcome means more than opening our doors. It means ensuring everyone can fully participate in the life of our church.
Today, some members and friends cannot easily access our fellowship hall, offices, and classrooms. That means they miss out on coffee hour, meetings, classes, celebrations, and the everyday moments that build community.
This year, we’d like to change that. Our goal is to install a small elevator at the back of the sanctuary, providing safe, reliable access to the lower level. This lift will allow everyone to share fully in the all the things that make our church home.
The total cost of this project is approximately $150,000, and we cannot accomplish it alone. We invite everyone who can help make this long-held dream a reality. Every gift, no matter the size, brings us closer to a church where our message of welcome is reflected not only in our words, but in our building. If you like to help, please designate elevator fund on your donation.
Together, we can ensure that everyone is truly welcome.

This QR code (click on this page or scan with another device) links to the church’s donation page where you will have the opportunity to donate to the elevator fund. When you select donate, you’ll go to another page where you will see a percentage that Zeffy suggests. It’s automatically set for 17%; you can change that with the drop down menu to “other” and set any amount or no amount.
If you are planning on a larger donation, it’s best to drop a check in the mail (PO Box 99, South Hero, VT 05486) or come to the office. Make sure your check memo says “Elevator fund.”
